Data Processing

This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to assist surveying and spatial information services learners to store and produce spatial data. Spatial data refers to recorded surveying measurements or datasets of objects with co-ordinates. It includes following instructions to record, maintain and produce spatial data in various data formats.

This unit is suitable for individuals operating RPAS under supervision. They use basic mathematical, cognitive, technical and communication skills to follow instructions, workflows and apply appropriate processes and methods to undertake activities related to surveying and mapping.

Work is carried out to comply with workplace procedures in accordance with relevant state/ territory regulations that govern surveying work as well as software compliance.
